We have been manufacturing the Clearlift system for over 30 years.
We believe that the Clearlift system has many
operational benefits over other systems available on the market.

Clearlift Demount Drawbar Demounting Procedure
(Note this is an example only, procedure can vary to suit your operation)1. In no specific order release all eight twist locks (prime mover and trailer) ensuring that the twist lock is fully retracted, ensure that the yellow lever is positioned towards the rear of the body and that the orange handle is turned through 90 degrees and is now pointing outwards. The twistlock assembly should drop down vin its housing, withdrawing from the receiver on the container baseframe.

2. Using the air suspension control in the cab completely raise the suspension of the prime mover (both front and rear). Note air suspension on drawbar trailer will also have to be raised (information to follow).

4. In no specific order position yourself in front of a demountable container leg, release the "anti-luce" fastener (A) pull the leg out fully towards you (B) and lower it to a vertical position (C) ensuring the leg latch lock is engaged(D).Ensure all four legs are fully lowered.

5. It is also advisable to lower the tail lift (if fitted) by 400mm via the external control box on the nearside rear to give clearance on the underside of the container baseframe.

6. Ensure that the electrical umbilical lead for the box interior lights is disconnected from the container and plugged into the dummy socket next to the tailift controls on the nearside rear.

7. Using the air suspension control in the cab completely lower the suspension. Continue lowering both front and rear together even after the container legs are in contact with the ground.Make a visual check that the twist lock beam rollers and any other potential obstructions are clear of the underside of the box baseframe and will not foul during withdrawal.

9. Slowly withdraw the prime mover and drawbar from underneath the container until completely clear. Once withdrawn ensure that the box is safe. The vehicle/combination is now ready to drive away.
