Sparks Transport has recently placed a large order for new curtainsided straight frame tri-axle trailers with Cartwright.
Established in 1933, Sparks Transport (C. Sparks & Sons Ltd), one of the largest privately owned transport companies in the South West of England, has expanded its trailer fleet through a substantial order for new trailers with Cartwright.
The Sparks fleet currently comprises of 100 trucks and 200 trailers. In addition to nationwide distribution, the company also offer a warehousing service in its BRC approved 120,000 sq. ft. nine acre facility.
All the trailers ordered from Cartwright are fleet curtainsided straight frame tri-axle and also EN 12642XL rated for the front and rear frames in addition to the curtains.
Managing Director of Sparks Transport Jonathan Sparks commented:
‘We have used Cartwright before through the company’s Rentals division and have made the decision to go for new build trailers which will add to our current fleet’.
‘The trailers will operate throughout the country from our company sites in Glastonbury and Bridgwater,’ he added.
